Banana Those of you that follow me on either Facebook, DeviantART or Twitter, have probably seen the banana while it was still “fresh”. But I was too lazy didn’t have the chance to upload it here. Plus, the entire thing with my Tablet going bad and getting ugly plastic stretchmarks all over the center area, left a bitter aftertaste of digital painting in my mouth. Plus, I really didn’t have time to do more, and wanted to dazzle everyone with an awesome new painting. Instead, you get a banana. It was painted from a live reference, took about 2-3 hours, and left me completely hypnotized and over-concentrated. But I like it!

Now for the first part of the post title – my selection of recent custom designs I made for the company I’m working at – Virtus dizajn. I have to say, I really feel like I’ve been in a creative rush these past few weeks. I love almost anything I create, which usually doesn’t go like that at all. It could be just a fruitful period, or it’s partly because of the acting class I’m taking – it really develops your creativity.
So, I added 6 new custom designs to the portfolio section, along with three choices from this years sites. Tell me what you think!

Second sketch! An apple, because, you know, apples are the way to go. Can’t wait to try something with people in it. It might drive me insane, but it’s so fun and addictive.

So, it seems there’s some need for creative expression in my life. It’s weird, because all I do is creative work, right? In addition to singing, which became my favorite thing ever during the last few years, I decided to resurrect my drawing hobby. Of course, drawing with a regular pen and paper seemed so tiresome and not that new, so without very much thought – there’s a new Trust tablet on my desk.

I know, a lot of people think that Wacom is the only way to go, but the Wacom tablet was twice the price, and, you know, what if I’m no good at it? To spend that much money on a tablet… But this one feels really nice. It’s pressure sensitive, and there’s a lot of helpful tutorials and forums which I’ve been consuming instead of doing any useful work while at home. And I just finished my first sketch, using The Vase photo as a reference.

All in all, I love it. And will be doing a LOT more practicing. If I can afford it, of course. There are still too many exams to study for… But Buffy time now. I swear, she’ll be the first real live person I paint.

promised my friend I'd make her a Jake Sully picspam, since she's not an Avatar fan (go figure!), but likes Sam Worthington. so, why not share it?

two amazing season finale episodes this week. Supernatural and Vampire diaries. I loved Vampire diaries more than I ever could imagine I would, but SPN... my God... I laugh, I cried my eyes out, and I felt like I never did about an episode of the show, or about any other show. you know that amazing tingling feelings some shows give you, that makes you feel so warm and fuzzy and nostalgic? double, no, multiply that by ten.
