I got the Supernatural Season 1 DVDs from Amazon today. They're awesome. The quality, the content (what I've seen so far), the boys.

I only watched pieces of the Pilot episode so far, and that served one purpose only:

This was it. The moment I fell in love. One line. Two words.

Cop: Do you have anything that's real?
Dean: My boots.

Oh yes.

His first use of the Ted Nugent alias.

Also, prettyness.

YES. Real one. Serious one. Dean, pushing Sam against the wall. Boys, boys, boys, if you'd only known.

Did I say I sometimes wished SPN was more like Torchwood where guy-fights end with...

You never take me mud fighting with you.

This was painful. Extremely. To see the brothers repeating the scenes from Sex&Violence, this time aware of who they are and what they're doing.

All of their dialogues were heartbreaking.

I wasn't mad at Sam at all, I just felt so sorry, about everything, after all the things he saw in the cell.

I have no idea where it's going from here, or what will season 5 look like. But I'm sure the S4 finale will be even more painful.

But my biggest question is - where the hell is Samantha Smith, and why wasn't she Mary??
Again.
Ok, this one's mostly about Dean and his toothbrush.

Impala. Boys. Just driving there.

And then... Anna! I was wondering when she's going to show up.

Look at Dean's face before and after Anna appears!!
Also, the way she realized Sam isn't 100% Sam anymore. It's like she could read his mind and know exactly what he's been up to.

Sam telling Jimmy telling his wife, "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

It's winter again.

One of the most beautiful scenes #2.

Random Impala-coolness.

Lying liar. For any of this. For the fight the boys are about to have, for all the bloodshed and tragedy that'll surely follow. It's been coming for some time now, but still. Jensen was so perfect, he wasn't Dean at all, except for some of the inevitable gorgeousness.

Second, this movie is very gross. Very. Also, the 3D parts are insanely realistic and scary.

Third. Both of my friends fell in love with Tom completely. Yes. They watched my SPN video on my cell (won't go there), and went OMG at his perfection every 2 seconds.

I'm jealous like hell.

Also, I'm watching Angel S5 right now. I skipped some seasons in the middle (mainly because they don't have Spike), so it took me a while to get used to the characters.

- Wesley is very yummy in black turtlenecks
- I really really don't like Freds voice but she's very pretty
- Angel is consantly sad and depressed and that's no surprise
- Spike = sex
- I really like Harmony
- I can't wait for another mind-reading sing-along from the green-skinned demon
- I really really really miss Buffy
- thank God for Andrew

Picspam comin' up.
I just spent the entire day trying to get my mouse to work. All with tab buttons, arrows, and keyboard shortcuts.
After about 5 hours, I finally gave up, and connected my old, 10-year-old mechanical mouse, that doesn't even have a wheel. <lj:music>Stolen Babies - Lowest Form | Powered by Last.fm</lj:music>

Going through my ancient computer's back up dvd, I found all of the old layouts I ever made. There were some funny ones, some really really bad ones, and some who were just... old. Also, a couple I completely forgot about. So, here's the list:

First, those that don't fit anywhere, but are kind of old, and I kind of hate them.

10.

I really really don't like this one, so it deserves a bigger full view. The greens, that huge rounded top left corner, the image pointing out of the layout... And to think it was a review site.

9.

Seeing this layout was really a surprise, I completely forgot about it. Isn't the flourescent pink totally eye catching? And the almost-nude batgirl? I just love a good pixel stretch.

8.

Oh, another bright one! It was a pop-up/iframe layout, of course. The icons are my favorite.

7.

I absolutely hated this one. I just discovered brushes and multi-colored blending, which of course consisted mostly of oranges and greens. Plus, it was Coldplay, and they just couldn't have a bunch of ugly stains all over them.

6.

Ah, a layout for my site! This one was something. It was the middle of summer, and I just had to do something different and unique and just plain special. So, I made a weird orange/blue thing with snowflakes and 3D bars and black borders. So very eye-catching, dontcha think?

5.

Oh I don't know what to say about this one. I actually liked it when I made it, but that was a repeating delusion us designers have. I never noticed how I overdid the brushes. I actually liked those stars (I used them in layouts over and over again). And the green over Scarlett's face... now that's just priceless.

4.

This one was actually online until I finally deleted it a couple of months ago. People actually liked it, and requested customized version of it. And that wasn't in 2005. How could they not like this tacky, monochrome, gigantic-header thing, with almost no content space?

3.

My first and last attempt at a "hi-tech" pop-up/iframe layout. I just couldn't help but laugh when I saw it today. What were those spheres supposed to be?

2.

Isn't this one cool? Especially how perfectly I cut out the girl. And the awesome rainbow-colored separators? And the swirls? And the title? Ahhh.

1.

Finally, number one, or the layout I hate the most from this group. Just look at that gorgeous pixel stretch. And that beautiful blend, which made Nicole Kidman look like a corpse. Not to mention the gorgeous icon. My favorite part - the text I wrote about it. How I loved and loved and loved it. Oooh yes.

Now, my next category are those that actually had potential. I almost like these.

4.

This one was one of the first layouts I ever made. I barely knew how to code it. And I had no web space.

3.

Iframes fascinated me back then. Iframes and Luis Royo, who later on became an obsession. But this one was so simple, with pretty colors, unlike anything else I made at that time.

2.

My favorite of all the iframe premades I made. I still like the colors. Icon templates were a huge hit back then.

1.

Angelina Jolie, daisies, dark grey, and yellow. My favorite of the oldies.

Next, layouts that are simply too old to be judged. But that still suck big time. Sorted by date, from newest to oldest.

The first premade layout I ever made. Look, no padding!

My site's very first layout ever. It just had to be purple.

A site I made for a friend. How many different photos are blended in there? And the swirls, I actually think those were made out of a font.

Ooh, blinding orange! And of course, stars. And iframes.

Look, stars, again! It had two separate layouts, extra text navigation (!), and breadcrumbs.

Now, for the end, the worst of the worst. Some I didn't even like when I made them. Some I was in love with.

5.

There are those stars again. Which have nothing to do with the layout theme, but still. And my amazing round-corner-making skills.

4.

Ahh, an anime one! Isn't it just the cutes thing ever! I knew "the graphics weren't much", but I still had it online. And it had snowflake icons!

3.

I remember, this one was one of those "unique" layouts. You could ask for it, and you'd get it, for free, and no one else would have it. And I wondered why no one wanted it.

2.

I loved this one. The subtle textures I used in the header, along with those pretty diagonal lines. It has a big preview because the details are just stunning.

1.

I made Nicole Kidman look like a corpse, and I made this entire layout look like it had an infection. It's my all time least favorite. My all time most hated one. It was online for a couple of months before I couldn't stand it anymore.

That's it, my design history.

For the end, some honorable mentions:

I'll spam about that on some other rainy Sunday.

I've been watching some Buffy lately. Again. And I realized, the show doesn't just rock my geeky world completely, it's also insanely beautiful. Sure, sometimes it's way too corny, but still.
I thought I wouldn't like this show. I only started watching because of my Spike obsession, which has since faded... a little. But now, I can't stop watching. I hate most of the characters. Owen irritates me like hell (there's something incredibly annoying about his mouth), Toshiko is still boring and too geeky even for my taste (her latest lesbian episode didn't help at all), Gwen is too cute and perfect to remain normal (her latest Owen-outburst - did this really happen - made her really unlikeable, mostly because I wanted her cheating on her boyfriend with Jack, not Owen XP), and Ianto... Well, I actually like him. I just didn't like the robot episode. I stopped watching around the time when she told him she didn't want to see him anymore and was offering him the money. I instantly knew she set the whole rape thing up. So I read the synopsis on wikipedia. Why watch a crappy movie for another hour just to find out it gets a fairy tale happy ending with the girl that's just about to die getting all better all of a sudden?

Dogma *almost* rocks.
